Beam Benefits, a digitally-led employee benefits company, has launched Beam Disability powered by The Hartford, rounding out its full suite of ancillary benefits. The new product offering features The Hartford’s industry-leading short-term and long-term disability insurance coverage and gives clients access to an array of new plan options and more flexibility, delivered seamlessly on Beam’s innovative tech platform.

Currently, Beam Disability powered by The Hartford is available to quote in California1, Ohio, Illinois, Texas, and Colorado, with more states to be added soon. Plans include straightforward coverage options with no medical underwriting required when enrolling upon initial eligibility and come with value-addedv services, including Ability Assist® Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and HealthChampion®, as well as identity theft support and travel assistance for long-term insurance coverage users.
