Live from Columbus, Ohio: Beam Live premieres

Beam Live: A Benefits Revolution took the stage at Beam HQ in June, giving people a glimpse into the future of employee benefits. Our first-ever livestream event was emceed by Alex Frommeyer, Beam Benefits co-founder and CEO, and showcased the organization’s latest innovations and developments.

From new product unveilings and digital-first experiences to a panel discussion around today’s most significant challenges affecting brokers and industry professionals, Beam Live: A Benefits Revolution presented groundbreaking advancements, insightful conversations, and exciting possibilities in employee benefits.

Introducing Beam Disability powered by The Hartford

2023 may be best remembered as the year we announced a collaboration with The Hartford to offer disability insurance coverage. The new strategic relationship gives Beam members access to best-in-class short- and long-term disability insurance plans with the flexibility to customize coverage.**

Likewise, The Hartford now offers small businesses Beam Dental and Beam Vision in addition to their disability and life insurance plans.§

Growing the product portfolio: Introducing Beam Critical Illness

In the spring, we unveiled a new addition to our line of supplemental health plans with Beam Critical Illness. This type of coverage gives a member and their family extra protection and financial security should a qualifying serious illness happen, such as a heart attack, stroke, or cancer.

Beam Critical Illness plan highlights:

  • Benefits are paid directly through a lump-sum cash payout.
  • Guaranteed issue coverage is available with no pre-existing condition limitations.
  • Plans feature no deductible and no lifetime maximum benefit amount.1

Beam also introduced its supplemental health and voluntary life plans in new states, allowing employers to set up a flexible benefits plan for their employees.

Beam Brush Pro: Revolutionizing oral health

We took everything Beam members love about our popular Bluetooth-connected Beam Brush and made it even better with the introduction of the Beam Brush Pro, which debuted in the market earlier this year and is now available for purchase on the Beam Shop. “Brush smarter, not harder” is the motto behind the Beam Brush Pro sonic toothbrush, which comes equipped with new features and functionality that includes multiple sonic brush modes, a gum health setting, a 2-minute timer and quadrant buzz, and so much more.
